French President hosts reception at Élysée Palace in honor of Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev
Upon completion of his visit to Paris, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev attended a reception hosted by President of France Emmanuel Macron at the Élysée Palace, Kazinform News Agency reports citing the Akorda press service.
Addressing Emmanuel Macron and his spouse Brigitte Macron, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev thanked them for their special hospitality and friendly attitude towards the Kazakh delegation.
Members of the French Government, famous politicians, representatives of business and scientific communities, diplomatic corps, as well as prominent cultural and sports figures of the two countries were invited to the event.
At the end of the reception, Emmanuel Macron introduced bronze medalist of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games in table tennis Alexis Lebrun to Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
An official farewell ceremony for Kassym-Jomart Tokayev took place at the Paris Orly Airport.
The Guard of Honor lined up on the airfield and the anthems of Kazakhstan and France were performed.
Minister of the Armed Forces of France Sébastien Lecornu and other officials saw the Kazakh President off at the airport.
