Frost to grip Kazakhstan Sept 21-23

The National Met Office Kazhydromet has issued the weather forecast for Kazakhstan for Sepetmber 21-23, 2024, Kazinform News Agency reports.

A cyclonic trough, centered over Novaya Zemlya, is to bring rains to the greater part of Kazakhstan, accompanied by thunder in the west and south, over the weekend. An anticyclone spur moving into the country’s west from Scandinavia is to lead to a termination of precipitation on September 22.

The country is to brace for high wind as well as fog and -2C ground frost in the west and northwest in the nighttime and morning.

Daytime temperatures are to stand at +15+20C in the west and +8+18C in the north.
