Frosty weather without precipitation to grip Kazakhstan

Northwestern anticyclone will persist over the territory of Kazakhstan on Saturday, December 9, keeping it under the cold spell, Kazinform News Agency cites Kazhydromet.

Frosty weather with no precipitation is forecast for most regions of the country.

According to the national weather agency, snowfall, blizzard and icy conditions on roads will be observed in southern and eastern Kazakhstan. Foggy and windy weather is expected across the country.

Heavy snowfall is predicted for mountainous areas of Zhetysu and Almaty regions, Zhambyl and Turkistan regions at night.
