Future of Kazakhstan's digital education in spotlight of annual August conference
From August 15 to 16, 20 regions of Kazakhstan will hold regional sectional conferences, while the National Teachers’ August Conference is slated for August 21, Kazinform News Agency reports citing the press service of the Kazakh Ministry of Enlightenment.
For the first time, the event will be held in a summit format with the participation of international education experts.
This year, the theme of the conference is “Digital Kazakhstan: Education in New Era."
“By tradition, the plenary sessions at the regional conferences will include interactive panel sessions and exhibitions on digital education, as well as master classes with the participation of experts in digitalization,” Chairman of the Secondary Education Committee Kanybek Zhumashev said.
The outcomes of the panel sessions and plenary session will be posted on the websites and social media of the regional education authorities and the Ministry of Enlightenment.
International experts are expected to participate in the National August Conference scheduled for August 21, with more than 500,000 teachers to attend it online.
