G.Kassymov and M.Yeleussizov registered as presidential candidates

ASTANA. February 28. KAZINFORM /Askar Bimendin/ Representative of the Party of Patriots of Kazakhstan Gani Kassymov and self-nominee, leader of "Tabigat" Ecological Union Mels Yeleussizov were registered by the Central Election Commission of Kazakhstan as presidential candidates on Monday.

As CEC Secretary Bakhyt Meldeshev noted, the two candidates submitted all necessary documents for registration, including the protocol on the collection of voters' signatures. 97 thousand 830 signatures have been collected in support of Mels Yeleussizov and 99 thousand 728 signature - in support of Gani Kassymov.

Thus, to date four presidential candidates including the two mentioned above have been registered. The other two are representative of "Nur Otan" Party Nursultan Nazarbayev and nominee of the Communist People's Party of Kazakhstan Zhambyl Akhmetbekov.
