Galina Voskoboeva of Kazakhstan in Mexican Open doubles quarterfinal

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan's tennis player Galina Voskoboeva and Kristina Mladenovic of France have advanced into the women's doubles quarterfinal of the Mexican Open (also known as the Abierto Mexicano Telcel) in Acapulco, Mexico this morning, Kazinform has learnt from Sports.kz.

The 2nd seed Voskoboeva and Mladenovic routed Ximena Hermoso and Ana Sofia Sanchez in two straight sets 6:0, 6:0. The Kazakh-French duo are to face Chuang Chia-Jung (Taipei) and Zhang Shuai (China) in the quarterfinal.

Earlier Spain's Lara Arruabarrena sent Galina Voskoboeva home after the first round tie in women's singles.
