Galymzhan Koishybayev reappointed as Vice Premier of Kazakhstan

Galymzhan Koishybayev is reappointed as the Vice Premier of Kazakhstan – head of the Government’s Office, Kazinform News Agency learnt from the Akorda press service.

As earlier reported, the AMANAT Party proposed the candidacy of Olzhas Bektenov for the post of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan. Previously he held the post of the head of the Presidential Administration of Kazakhstan.

Born in 1968 in Kyzylorda is a graduate of the Lomonosov Moscow State University.

In 1995-2004 he served as an attaché, 3rd, 1st secretary, counselor, minister-counselor of the Kazakh Embassy in Russia.

In 2004 appointed as the plenipotentiary representative of Kazakhstan to the CSTO. Throughout his career served as Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia concurrently, to Finland.

On January 4, 2023 the Head of State decreed to appoint him as the Vice Premier – head of the Kazakh Government’s Office.
