Kazakh women's national ice hockey team to participate in 2026 Olympic qualification tournament

The Kazakh women's national ice hockey team will take part in the final round of qualification for the 2026 Olympic Games between December 12-15, Kazinform News Agency cites Olympic.kz.

Team Kazakhstan will start playing from the third stage in Group D.

On December 5, the Kazakh team will leave for Austria for a six-day training camp in Berg. On December 11, the players will arrive in Piešťany, Slovakia, where the qualifying tournament will be held.

The opponents of Team Kazakhstan will face teams of Slovakia, Iceland and Slovenia.

The Kazakhstan women's national team will play on (all times are given in Astana time):

December 12, 2024, 10:00 pm – Slovakia vs. Kazakhstan

December 13, 2024, 06:00 pm – Slovenia vs. Kazakhstan

December 15,2024, 06:00 pm – Kazakhstan vs. Iceland

Only one team ranked first in the third stage standings will advance to the final round of qualification.
