Gas system ready to throughput Kashagan oil - regional Akim

ATYRAU. KAZINFORM - In Atyrau region "Redut - Finskaya'' automated gas distribution station main line's second string 21.5 kilometers length has been commissioned.

"The string will provide right-bank Atyrau with regular supply of natural gas as well as improve Kashagan oil throughput via "Tengiz - Novorossiysk" main pipeline, informed the Akim of Atyrau region Baktykozha Izmuhambetov.

According to his words, in 2013 because of the existing line's disability, 23.5 kilometers of the pipeline were replaced in the area near Eltay Inder region. Total value of the repair work amounted to KZT 239.5 million. As a result 490 houses of the village were provided with natural gas.

This year it is planned to replace "Inder - Makhambet" emergency gas pipeline. The cost of the work will be about KZT 5.4 billion.
