GDP growth made 5% in 2012 - Kazakh Minister of Economy and Budget Planning
ASTANA. March 4. KAZINFORM "Kazakhstan's GDP growth amounted to five per cent in 2012," Kazakh Minister of Economy and Budget Planning Yerbolat Dossayev informed at the Government hour in Majilis.
"In the context of world economy poor development a number of parameters are low. Decreasing external demand, reduction in crop production by 27.7%, the decline in oil production from the planned 81 million tons to 79.2 million tons, " the Minister said.
Dossayev noted that at the same time there had been an increase in some sectors. In particular, it refers to transport, communications, and wholesale and retail trade.
