GDP growth made 7.5 percent for last 9 months – K. Massimov

ASTANA. October 25. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ The GDP growth made 7.5 percent for the last 9 months. Prime Minister Karim Massimov said at the meeting of 'Nur Otan' Party.

'I believe that the Government has fulfilled all the instructions of the President to ensure the post-crisis conditions for recovery of the economy after the crisis. These are the first results: the GDP growth made 7.5 percent for the first 9 months of the year. These figures are among the best in the CIS', K. Massimov said.

According to him the volume of industrial production increased more than 10 percent and growth in manufacturing topped 19 percent. Production of chemicals and chemical products increased in 76.5 percent, fabricated metal products to 63.9 percent and the figures in engineering production increased in 55.8 percent.
