GDP growth made 7 percent for first 10 months of year - Karim Massimov
ASTANA. November 12. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ The GDP growth made 7 percent for the first 10 months of the year. Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Massimov said it at the plenary sitting of the Senate of the Parliament of Kazakhstan.
'The GDP growth made 7 percent for the first 10 months of the year, growth in the industry topped 10 percent, unemployment percentage reduced to lower level than it had been before the crisis, less than 6 percent. The banking system has stabilized', K. Massimov said.
The Premier also noted that entrepreneurship had revived now. Gross total of foreign reserves and reserves of the National Fund exceeded the level of USD 58 bln.
'All this demonstrates that we took necessary measures to prevent new financial problems', the Prime Minister added.
