General layout of Astana to be discussed at public hearings

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - The department of architecture and city planing of Astana jointly with "Scientific and research institute "Astana general layout" LLP conducted work on correction of the general layout of the capital city till 2030 due to holding of the international specialized exhibition "EXPO-2017", the press service of the Astana Mayor reports.

The necessity in correction of the general layout of Astana arose due to the changes of the location of the exhibition complex of the EXPO-2017, new railway station, small belt road and other infrastructural facilities and by the necessity to ensure development of the transport and utility infrastructure of the capital city required for holding the EXPO-2017. In this regard, the developers of the project organize public hearings for representatives of state bodies, residents and non-governmental organizations from February 10 till February 12.
