Georgia confirms new ambassadors to Kazakhstan and Norway

TBILISI. April 27. KAZINFORM The Georgian parliament has confirmed on Thursday new ambassadors to Kazakhstan and Norway, as well as representative to international organizations in Geneva.

The country's President has nominated David Mumladze to be Ambassador of Georgia to Kazakhstan, and Mamuka Tsikhelashvili - Ambassador to Norway, Trend reports.

Mamuka Tsikhelashvili was born in 1971. In 1997-2003 he worked in the Department of International Economic Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, in 2003-2007 he served as consul of the Embassy of Georgia to Armenia, and in 2007-2008 he was deputy director of the department of international economic, cultural and humanitarian relations of the Georgian Foreign Ministry. From January 1, 2009 he has served as director of the department.
