Georgia hosts sitting of North Atlantic Council

BRUSSELS. November 9. KAZINFORM /Dimash Syzdykov/ Today a two-day visiting session of the North Atlantic Council at the level of ambassadors of 28 member states of the Alliance opens in Georgia under chairmanship of NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen; the NATO press service reports.

At the first day there will be held a session of the Georgia-NATO Commission with participation of the NATO Secretary General and Prime Minister of Georgia Nika Gilauri.

At the second day there are planned meetings of the NATO Secretary General and ambassadors with Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili, Speaker of Parliament David Bakradze, Georgian deputies as well as Minister of Foreign Affairs Grigol Vashadze and representatives of opposition parties, mass media, NGOs.
