BAKU-TBILISI. July 18. KAZINFORM - In the near future the Kazakh delegation will visit Georgia after which there will be officially finalized an agreement reached in Kazakhstan on “KazTransGas-Tbilisi” transfer to the Kazakh side, this was announced by Kakha Kaladze, Energy Minister of Georgia, at a press conference.

As stated by him, the Georgian Government did not stop work on reducing debt of "KazTransGas-Tbilisi" distribution company.

It should be pointed out that the Kazakh "KazTransGas" has become the owner of the ''Tbilgazi" Tbilisi gas distribution company's assets after winning the investment rate in May 2006. The investor paid USD 12, 5 million for the company.

In 2009 the Georgian National Regulatory Commission for energy and water supply has appointed a special manager of "KazTransGas-Tbilisi". The reason for that was debt amounting to 80 million lari (GEL 1 = $ 0.6) and 68 million lari "KazTransGas-Tbilisi" owes to the Georgian Oil and Gas Corporation.

Now the parties are negotiating for dismissing "KazTransGas-Tbilisi" temporary manager and returning control over the company to the Kazakh side.
