Young pianists of Kazakhstan and Georgia organized an evening of national chamber music of the two countries within the framework of the international project “Dialogue of Cultures”, Kazinform News Agency cites the press service of the Kazakh Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The concert program featured the best piano works by Kazakh and Georgian composers. Young pianists from Georgia enjoyed playing Kazakh native music. David Ketsbaia, a pianist at the Tbilisi Conservatory, shared his impression: “I was glad to perform something new and beautiful. The fantasy on the theme of the Kazakh song “Yapurai”, which I played, is surprisingly subtle and melodic, it seems to me this poetic musical sketch embodies the good-natured and open character of the Kazakh people, like a wide steppe”.

The organizer of the event, Ernazar Guimarat, pianist, director of the international creative organization “Art-Forum of Kazakhstan”, said that the friendship of young pianists was started just a month ago in Almaty at the first international piano music festival, which was attended by Georgian musicians. Then, the idea of creating a joint celebration of national academic music arose.

The concert took place at the Vano Sarajishvili Tbilisi State Conservatory, where the undergraduates of the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory are undergoing a scientific internship. This evening, the premiere of the work of young Kazakh composer Karina Izmailova “Arnau” took place.

The music of the two peoples united the audience and gave a lot of vivid emotions and impressions, genre diversity, breadth of thematic spectrum, variety of styles.
