German Ambassador lectured in ENU

ASTANA. March 9. KAZINFORM /Zhanna Korkitova/ German Ambassador to Kazakhstan Rainer Schlageter has lectured on the bilateral relations between Kazakhstan and Germany in the L.Gumilyev Eurasian National University today. The meeting of the Ambassador with the University students was organized within the initiative "A bridge of friendship between the EU and ENU".

The Ambassador gave a lecture titled "Relations between Kazakhstan and Germany - History, Achievements and Potential".

R. Schlageter addressed such issues as cooperation potential of the two states, opportunities and prospects.

The Ambassador covered a wide range of issues in his speech including politics, economy, trade, culture and public diplomacy.

"A Bridge of Friendship between the EU and ENU" initiative was started in the University on November 24 last year from a lecture of Head of Delegation of the European Union to Kazakhstan Norbert Jousten.
