Germany: Scholz and Merz to clash in two televised clashes in February
Chancellor Olaf Scholz and the leader of the German Christian Democratic Union, Friedrich Merz, will face off in two separate televised contests before the elections on February 23, Agenzia Nova reports.
The first is scheduled for February 6 on the German television network “ARD” while the second will be broadcast on the broadcaster “RTL” on February 16.
In addition to the Scholz-Merz duel, “Ard” will also host the meeting between the leader of Alternative for Germany, Alice Weidel, against the Greens' candidate for chancellor and economics minister, Robert Habeck.
Earlier it was reported that Mongolia and Germany agreed to convert debt into the public health investments.
