Global and regional industrial giants enter Kazakhstan – Head of State

President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev revealed that dozens of investment projects worth 376 billion tenge had been implemented in Kazakhstan this year alone, Kazinform News Agency reports.

While addressing the awarding ceremony of the Altyn Sapa and Paryz prizes, the Head of State praised the fact that a myriad of investment projects are being implemented in the regions of Kazakhstan.

He emphasized that this year alone 91 investment projects worth 376 billion tenge had been implemented in Kazakhstan, generating over 6,000 jobs.

The Head of State also commended the fact that global and regional industrial giants enter Kazakhstan, citing the launch of the full-cycle production of Kia vehicles in Kostanay as example.

In conclusion, President Tokayev noted that Kazakhstan had set a goal to develop a new industrial backbone of the country.
