Golden Globes gift bags set a record with $1 million in luxury items
Nominees and presenters at the 82nd annual Golden Globes on January 5 will receive gift bags valued at an unprecedented $1 million, curated by Robb Report. Doubling the value of last year’s offerings, the bags include a list of extravagant travel experiences, exclusive beauty treatments, fine beverages, and high-end wellness products, Kazinform News Agency reports.
It’s important to note that not all gift bags are identical in their contents. Each guest will receive a catalog detailing the gifts, their value, and the number available. While some items, like bottles of whisky or skincare products, will be given to all 100 participants, others, such as the private Northern Lights trip or the luxury villa stay, are offered in limited quantities.
One of the standout items in the gift bags is a three-night stay in a beachfront villa in Turks and Caicos, valued at $507,492, available to just nine recipients. Guests will also have the opportunity to enjoy a $272,000 wine tasting and dinner in Bordeaux, available to one participant, and a $48,000 trip to Finland for a private viewing of the Northern Lights, also available to one recipient. A five-night stay at the Ritz-Carlton in Grand Cayman, valued at $55,000, will be gifted to all 100 participants, as will a five-day yacht charter in Indonesia’s Coral Triangle, priced at $60,000.
In the food and beverage category, highlights include a rare $34,800 Liber Pater wine trio, available to one guest, and a $2,000 bottle of Komos XO tequila, which will be gifted to 10 recipients. Additionally, all 100 attendees will receive a bottle of Isle of Harris Gin or The Hearach Single Malt Scotch Whisky, valued at $150 each.
Beauty and wellness offerings are equally luxurious. One lucky participant will receive a non-surgical facelift worth $40,000, while 100 guests will be treated to a cutting-edge LED Light Therapy Face Mask, valued at $469. Other highlights include a personalized wellness experience with FORWARD__Space, worth $15,000 and available to 25 attendees, and a Pure Gold Radiance Serum from La Prairie, valued at $935, available to 40 participants.
For those who appreciate fashion and home luxury, the bags include custom-designed Italian suits worth $11,400, available to three recipients, and organic linen sheets, valued between $572 and $1,392, which will be gifted to all 100 participants.
