Golovkin GGG will get USD 400,000 for fight with Stevens
ASTANA. November 1. KAZINFORM — The Kazakhstani boxer Gennady Golovkin who is a world champion at middleweight by the WBA will get USD 400,000 for the fight with the American Curtis Stevens, according to Boxingnews.com.ua. By the way the American boxer will be paid USD 290,000 for the same fight, Vesti.kz reports.
Other participants of the boxing evening will receive the following fees: Magomed Abdusalamov (USD 40,000), Mike Perez (USD 30,000), Ola Afolabi (USD 20,000) and Lukasz Janik (USD 20,000).
It bears to remind that the fight between Golovkin and Stevens will be held in New York at Madison Square Garden arena. KazSport will broadcast live show on November 3 at 7:00 am Astana time.
We add that the Kazakh boxer in his last fight which took place on June 30 knocked out the Briton Matthew Macklin defending the world title by the WBA.
NOTE: Golovkin won all 27 fights in the professional ring, 24 of them he concluded by knockout. Stevens won 25 (18 knockouts) and lost 3 fights.
