"Last year I lost a little bit interest... Because you know, too much talk, too much trash talk... Everybody use my name - "I want this", "I'm ready"... Nobody's ready. Now yesterday I saw Danny (Jacobs - edit.) and he's really really ready", said Golovkin.

It should be reminded that in 2016 Golovkin had only two fighst with Dominic Wade in April and Kell Brook in September. GGG was expected to fight in December against Chris Eubank Jr. but the teams couldn't come to a common ground. And Jacobs fight had to be rescheduled from December to March as the deal could not be reached.

Also, at The Breakfast Club on Power Radio, Golovkin said there is a chance he will fight with American Andre Ward (31-0, 15 KOs). "I hope this fight happens, but this is boxing. Although, of course, today the situation is different. He is now in 175 pounds, I'm still in 160. But in the future - why not? This is a fight everyone wants. When he was in 168 pounds, we talked a couple of times, but nothing serious. I think this fight is possible in the future. I'm ready to fight anyone," Sports.kz quotes Golovkin.
