Golubev, Molchanov win their first doubles title at BNP Paribas Nordic Open in Sweden

Doubles duo Andrey Golubev of Kazakhstan and Denys Molchanov of Ukraine defeated Great Britain’s Julian Cash and India's Yuki Bhambri to win their first title at the BNP Paribas Nordic Open in Stockholm, Sweden, Kazinform News Agency reports citing Sports.kz.

In the finals, Golubev and Molchanov defeated British/Indian tandem Julian Cash/Yuki Bhambri in two sets - 7:6 (10:8), 6:2.

Thus, Golubev and Molchanov earned 108,000 US dollars and got 250 points each.

Earlier, during the tournament, Golubev and Molchanov defeated Argentinian duo Maximo Gonzales/Andres Molteni - 7:5, 3:6, 10:7, Portuguese/British duo Francisco Cabral /Henry Patten - 7:6, 6:7, 10:8, and U.S./French duo Robert Galloway /Albano Olivetti – 7:5, 6:2.
