Good education protects women against obesity
This is because the studies educate people not only in specialized disciplines, but it helps people to become good at health matters as well. Therefore, educated women have their own opinions about food market trends and marketing and are not subordinate to food companies' ads. Scientists from University College London led by Amina Aytsi Silm studied the link between education, obesity and financial wellbeing. The project investigated the data of more than 250 thousand women from seven countries, reports myjane.ru. It turned out that with the growth of welfare people get fat eating more nutritious food. With the improvement of financial prosperity, the risk of obesity of women with primary education increased by almost 40%; with secondary education by a quarter and with higher education the data was only 2%.
