Government allocates KZT 120 bn for social support in 2014

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - It is planned to allocate more than 120 billion tenge to support socially vulnerable groups in 2014, Minister of Economy and Budget Planning Yerbolat Dossayev said at a meeting of the Government.

"The refined national budget envisages 121.6 billion tenge to support socially vulnerable segments of the population," he noted.

From April 1 this year, it is planned to provide a 10% increase in monthly allowance to the basic salary of civilian employees in the amount of 63.5 billion tenge, the website of the Prime Minister reports.

It is also planned to increase the size of pensions and state social payments in the amount of 53.4 billion tenge, the size of scholarships to students studying within the government educational order by 10% in the total amount of 4.7 billion tenge.

In addition, to implement the government order in preschool educational institutions under the program "Balapan" additional funds will be allocated in the amount of 6.7 billion tenge.
