Government buys Arcelor Mittal Temirtau for $286 million

The deal on acquisition of Arcelor Mittal Temirtau  has been concluded, Kazinform News Agency quotes minister of industry and construction Kanat Sharlapaev as saying at a briefing in the Government.

According to him, 11 rounds of negotiations were held.

The cost of the two assets made 286 million US dollars, with no funds spent from the national budget. This is the cost of the two fully operating enterprises. AMT does not set any claims against Kazakhstan, Sharlapaev said.
