‘Government for Citizens’ should become full-fledged driver of offline service - PM
92% of public services are available online, Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov said Tuesday, Kazinform News Agency reports.
While addressing the Government’s meeting, Prime Minister Smailov noted that the majority of those services can be obtained through mobile apps on one’s smartphone.
“Getting electronic public services is an essential component of enhancing the quality of people’s life, said Smailov, adding that digitalization of the processes allowed to reduce paperwork and save time.
In his words, the achievements in digitalization allowed Kazakhstan to rise in the E-Government Development Ranking, becoming a leader in the Central and Southern Asia region.
“This is a huge achievement for Kazakhstan praised by international experts. This work should be continued,” Smailov added.
The Premier emphasized it is crucial to enhance the level of services provided, especially at the Public Service Centers across Kazakhstan.
Speaking of digitalization of public services, Prime Minister Smailov said “Government for Citizens” State Corporation should become a full-fledged driver of offline service.
