Government submitted 27 bills for consideration of Majilis this year

"The Plan of legislative drafting activities for 2012 includes 34 bills to be submitted for consideration of the Majilis. Another 7 bills should be submitted to the Majilis by the yearend," B.Imashev said.
Thereat, two bills on the issues of overall declaration and on the issues of electronic commerce were excluded from the list of the bills. However, the bills on regulation of land relations, on rehabilitation and bankruptcy were added to the list.
Besides, the state agencies developed 14 unplanned bills aimed at implementation of the President's instructions, Addresses, instructions of the President's Administration and the Government.
Thus, the national action plan on implementation of the President's Address to the Nation "Socio-Economic Modernization - Main Vector of Development of Kazakhstan" approved by the Government on January 30, 2012 provides for development of 7 draft laws.
Presently, 2 out of 7 draft laws were signed by the President, 3 bills are under consideration of the Parliament and 1 is on approval stage.
Totally, the share of unplanned bills developed by the state agencies is pretty high (41%).
Besides, the Parliament members initiated 11 bills this year. Two of them were signed by the President, one is waiting signing, two are under consideration of the Majilis. The work on the other three bills is postponed due to negative opinion of the Government.
