Government to activate business involving in economic development in 2011: PM

ASTANA. November 18. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ "The Kazakh Government will activate the work on business involvement in the economic development of the country in 2011", Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Massimov at the economic forum "Expert-100-Kazakhstan" opened in Astana on Thursday.

"The issue of attracting the business to active participation in the economic development is of special importance for Kazakhstan", K.Massimov said.

The Prime Minister noted that when in 2009 and first half of 2010 the role of the Government was much bigger as long as state resources were involved in the crisis overcoming, then today the business should be more active.

Besides, the Head of the Government said that the results of Kazakhstan's economic development in first 10 months of the year were encouraging. The GDP growth was up to 7%, the industrial output - 10%.
