Governmental commission set up to investigate into Almaty hostel fire cause

A governmental commission was set up to investigate into the causes of the hostel fire in Almaty, Kazinform News Agency cites the prime minister’s press office.

The commission consists of the governmental and law-enforcement officials and the representatives of Almaty mayor’s office.

Minister of emergencies Syrym Sharipkhanov, who is the chairman of the commission, is leaving for the accident site.

The commission will immediately start investigating into the causes of the tragedy and providing emergency aid to the victims.
