Governments of Kazakhstan and Saudi Arabia to sign agreement on construction of Saudi Embassy in Kazakhstan
ASTANA. February 2. KAZINFORM /Bauyrzhan Mukanov/ Kazakhstan and Saudi Arabia will sign an agreement on construction of the Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Astana. Official Representative of RK MFA Yerzhan Ashikbayev has informed of it today at the briefing, Kazinform correspondent reports.
?The signing ceremony of the agreement on provision of land for construction of the Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Astana will take place on February, 4. Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Nurlan Yermekbayev and Ambassador of Saudi Arabia in Kazakhstan Hisham Zara will sign the document?, Y. Ashikbayev said.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia recognized the Independence of Kazakhstan on December, 30, 1991. Diplomatic relations between two countries were established on April, 30, 1994. The Embassy of Kazakhstan was opened in Riyadh on May, 1996 and the Embassy of Saudi Arabia was opened in Kazakhstan in March, 1997.
