Governor reports on Akmola region socioeconomic development
Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received Akmola region governor Marat Akhmetzhanov, Kazinform News Agency cites the Akorda press service.
The latter reported on the socioeconomic development of Akmola region.
He said capital investments made 530 billion tenge, including 435 billion tenge of private investments. 154 projects were implemented, and 1,500 new jobs were created.
The governor said the production of food products, including vegetable oil, processed meat, milk, butter, cheese, and farmer cheese increased.
Special attention was paid to the heating issues. He said operations of all municipal services are under constant control.
The governor said the draft general Kokshetau city development plan was prepared. It aims to tackle ecological and infrastructure issues. Marat Akhmetzhanov submitted the draft comprehensive plan for the development of agglomeration purposed to improve people’s living conditions and reduce shuttle migration.
Following the meeting, the Head of State set certain tasks to further develop the region, fulfill farm products deep processing projects, attract investments, and ensure smooth heating in the towns of Akmola region.
