Great progress achieved in all spheres during Kazakhstan's OSCE chairmanship: Marc Perrin de Brichambaut
ASTANA. November 28. KAZINFORM /Serik Sabekov/ "Great progress has been achieved in all spheres during the Kazakhstan's OSCE chairmanship" OSCE Secretary General Marc Perrin de Brichambaut said at the OSCE Review Conference in Astana on Sunday.
According to the Secretary General, the active work on preparation of a declaration of the Summit is underway now. The draft declaration developed by the chairing Kazakhstan was approved by the rest Organization member states. But the negotiations of this issue will be discussed.
The OSCE secretary General noted that the work of Kazakhstan on provision of tolerance was conducted at the high level.
"I believe, the OSCE member states are interested in solution of the Afghan issues as well. The OSCE is not the only organization taking part in the solution of this issue. Few day ago this problem was discussed at the NATO Summit in Lisbon there Kazakh President N.Nazarbayev took part as well", Marc Perrin de Brichambaut said.
