Green Economy Transition Concept needs completely new trends in natural sources usage - Kazakh Minister of Environment

Minister of Environmental Protection of Kazakhstan Bektas Mukhamedzhanov noted the implementation of Kazakhstan's Green Economy Transit Concept needs completely new trends for natural resources effective use. In this context, the Ministry perfects legislation on the environmental protection, which is very important in the light of the upcoming EXPO-2017 event in Astana," Mr. Mukhamedzhanov stressed.
Director of the Division of Economic Development USAID mission in Central Asia Michael Trueblood reported on the principles of "green economy" as an innovative approach in the development of mining production.
Head of the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Administration of the Tomsk Region (Russia) Alexander Adam was invited especially for the exchange of experience in implementing green technologies and the master class.
Following the master-class, three memorandums of cooperation on promotion of "green" economy principles were signed.
