Group on Central Asian Region established in British Parliament

LONDON. October 31. KAZINFORM /Bela Kudaibergenova/ A group on Central Asian Region was established at the British Parliament. Over 20 members of the House of Lords and Commons entered the group. The work on program development with five countries of the region has been already started.

According to large British businessman and member of the Conservative Party in the Parliament of the United Kingdom of Lord Sheikh, one of the leaders of the Central Asian group the interest of west investors to the countries of the region is connected, firstly, with extractive industries. But he is confident that such industries as tourism, transport and high-quality production also have a big potential.

"The time will come and the crisis will come an end. And the mineral raw materials you have in good supply will be again in demand. I think that Kazakhstan has a right appreciation of this issue and the country take measures to provide favorable conditions for investments. Another advantage your country has is the political stability", - the Lord said.
