Gusty winds to wallop Kazakhstan on Wednesday

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Inclement weather that gripped Kazakhstan earlier this week will persist today, March 25.

Meteorologists predict that stiff wind gusting up to 20-25 meters per second will batter Akmola, West Kazakhstan, Karaganda, Almaty, Zhambyl, South Kazakhstan, Aktobe, Kostanay, North Kazakhstan and East Kazakhstan regions. Gusts of wind will reach 30 meters per second in Pavlodar region. Zhambyl, South Kazakhstan, Kyzylorda, Mangystau, Aktobe, Kostanay, Akmola, West Kazakhstan, Karaganda and North Kazakhstan regions will be steeped in fog. Thunderstorm is expected in Almaty region. It will be slippery in Kostanay, Kyzylorda, Akmola, West Kazakhstan and Karaganda regions.
