H. Clinton thanked Kazakhstan for support of international mission in Afghanistan
Secretary of State of the U.S.A. Hillary Clinton said it at the briefing with Chairperson-in-Office, Secretary of State and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Kanat Saudabayev during the OSCE Summit in Astana.
'During the negotiations with President Nursultan Nazarbayev and Minister of Foreign Affairs Kanat Saudabayev I thanked Kazakhstan for support of the international mission in Afghanistan and for what was done for the people of this country. I also expressed gratitude for the opportunity that Afghan students were granted to get education in Kazakhstan. It is going to help restore economy of Afghanistan', she said.
Besides, H. Clinton thanked Kazakhstan for recently signed agreement on air transit that was called to help in transportation of important resources to Afghanistan. 'I welcome Kazakhstan as new member of the International Security Assistance Forces that unites 49 countries', H. Clinton added.
