According to Chairman of Senate Committee for Socio-Cultural Development Akhan Bizhanov, holding of such conference in the period of the Kazakh presidency in the OCE will make its own contribution to raising authority of our country and development of ideas of interethnic and interfaith concord in our country and in the world.
Director of Department for South East and Eastern Europe in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands Caspar Veldkamp noted that today Europe actively discusses the issue regarding interethnic relations. "At the same time, it would be useful to look outside Europe, for example, study the experience of Kazakhstan. We would like to learn from each other, and this conference gives such opportunity", he said.
