Hamid Karzai expressed gratitude to Nursultan Nazarbayev for assistance to Afghanistan

ASTANA. December 1. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ Afghan President Hamid Karzai expressed gratitude to President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev for assistance to Afghanistan.

'Dear Mr. President, you paid special attention to Afghanistan while presidency in the OSCE. You contributed to reconstruction of Afghanistan, to increasing conditions and level of life standards in Afghanistan', H. Karzai said.

'I want to mention your personal contribution and efforts to help Afghanistan and thank you for granting 1000 scholarships for our youth to get education in Kazakhstan', The Head of Afghanistan said.

He also expressed hope that the OSCE would continue to support Afghanistan in future.
