Head coach slams Barys Astana for poor performance in play-offs

ASTANA. March 2. KAZINFORM Head coach of HC "Barys Astana" Vladimir Krikunov says his team showed "lack of willpower" in the latest game on the road against HC "Traktor" from Chelyabinsk on Friday (March 1), the Astana hockey club's official website says.

"From what I've seen today, I can only assume the players have already taken a vacation. Perhaps, they have already decided to finish the series and go have some rest. Probably, this is the first time my team shows lack of willpower in the playoffs and goes down without a fight," Krikunov commented on the last match against HC "Traktor".

The next game against HC "Traktor" in the play-off series will take place in Astana on March 3 at 17:00 p.m. local time.
