“We had a successful performance at the Asian Championships. Our girls pocketed 5 bronze and 5 gold medals, confirming their leadership among Asian countries. This success was a result of the cohesion of the national team, its unity and hard work. We have been preparing for the Asian Championships very seriously. Personal coaches of our sportswomen went to great lengths in carefully tailoring the tactics for each fight. This is what allowed us to achieve such great results,” said the head coach.

In addition, he underscored the team's commitment to end the year on a triumphant note, as this championship represents the pinnacle of the season for female athletes.

“As you know, the ASBC Asian Elite Women Boxing Championships was the last major tournament for our female athletes this year. The key goal was to wrap it up with honor, and I believe we managed to achieve it. Of course, these victories were not easy for our girls. They performed without protective helmets for the first time at such a big tournament. This is a serious challenge. However, by staying disciplined and following the requirements, they were able to demonstrate outstanding results. Overall, nine countries won medals at the Asian Championships. Our girls proved their superiority by winning 5 gold and 5 bronze medals,” Yeldos Saidalin added.

It bears to remind that the Kazakh female boxers have won five gold medals at the ASBC Asian Elite Women Boxing Championships in Chiang Mai.
