Head of Astana Gastro Center arrested for concealing homicide

The Director of the Astana Gastro Center was arrested for the concealment of a homicide at one of the restaurants at the center, Kazinform News Agency reports.

According to the Astana police, the director was arrested for two months after concealing the woman’s homicide at BAU restaurant last week.

The investigation into the homicide is underway. Other details cannot be disclosed for legal reasons.

Earlier it was reported that the former National Economy Minister of Kazakhstan Kuandyk Bishimbayev had been arrested for two months for allegedly killing his wife at a restaurant in Astana on November 9.
