Head of Kazkosmos meets with Ambassador of Kazakhstan to France

PARIS. February 25. KAZINFORM /Sara Kabikyzy/ The Delegation of the National Space Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan led by Head of Kazkosmos Talgat Mussabayev is on a working trip in France, Kazinform correspondent reports.

Chairman of Kazkosmos Talgat Mussabayev met with Head of the Kazakh Diplomatic Mission in France Murat Tashibayev yesterday in the embassy of Kazakhstan. As is known, Presidents Nursultan Nazarbayev and Nicolas Sarcozy have identified the development of space activities as one of the priority areas of cooperation between the two countries. French Company EADS Astrium is a strategic partner of Kazkosmos in the implementation of such large projects as creation of the space system of Kazakhstan?s earth remote sensing, construction of the assembly-testing launch in Astana. Kazakhstan Ambassador to France Murat Tashibayev highlighted Talgat Mussabayev?s role in creation and development of Kazakhstan space sphere. Speaking on the prospects of cooperation of France and Kazakhstan in space sphere, the Ambassador noted that Kazakhstani representatives in Paris will exert every effort for ensuring mutually beneficial cooperation of the countries. The Head of ?Kazkosmos? and Kazakh Ambassador also discussed a number of organizational issues on development of the second ?frame? agreement between the two countries? governments on exploration of outer space for peaceful purposes, which is to be signed during the forthcoming visit of the president of France to Kazakhstan.
