Head of State dismisses Justice Minister Azamat Yeskarayev
The press service of the Akorda has informed in its statement, Kazinform News Agency reports.
By decree of the Head of State, Azamat Yeskarayev has been released from the post of the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan, reads the statement.
Yeskarayev had served as the Justice Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan since 2023.
Born in 1979 in Almaty city, he graduated from the Kazakh State Law Academy.
He joined the Justice Ministry of the Republic of Kazakhstan as a leading specialist in 2000. He left the ministry for a couple of years to join JSC “Kazyna “Sustainable Development Fund” in 2006-2007.
Yeskarayev returned to the Justice Ministry in 2007 and rose through the ranks to become the Director of the Legislation Department of the ministry in 2009.
In 2014, he was appointed as the deputy head and then head of the legal department of the Chancery of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan.
Earlier it was reported that Nauryzbay Kazhy Taganuly had been reelected as the Supreme Mufti of Kazakhstan.
