Head of State met with OSCE Secretary General
A wide range of issues on preparation of Kazakhstan to the OSCE chairmanship was discussed at the meeting.
The Head of the State thanked Marc Perrin de Brichambaut for the support of the Kazakhstan's OSCE chairmanship in 2010.
The OSCE Secretary General said that the coming chairmanship of our republic opens to the OSCE new opportunities, and Kazakhstan's experience will make great contribution to the development of the Organization. He also complemented the initiative of N.Nazarbayev on holding OSCE Summit in Astana in 2010.
"This is a good idea to organize summit of the OSCE. It will help to give a new dynamic to the organization and ensure stability. We have already received positive response to the idea of the Kazakh leader. The initiative found great support and we will promote it. Kazakhstan can be an example for other states", Marc Perrin de Brichambaut said.
