Head of State paid 20 working visits to regions last year

ASTANA. January 13. KAZINFORM For Kazakhstan 2008 was very reach for events. Working schedule of the Head of the State was really busy, displaying all events of socio-political life of the country, Kazinform refers to the official Mess Media.

Over 500 official events, including international visits, working visits to regions, sessions, participation in the work of international and republican forums, reception of foreign state and public figures, meetings with reps of community and staff of enterprises were held under participation of the President. Particularly, within the period N.Nazarbayev took part in two enlarged sessions of the Government, held on February 14 and October 13, held five business meetings under participation of the Government members and leadership of the Presidential Administration, and sessions with Governors of the regions, Mayors of Astana and Almaty. On the line of advisory bodies under the President, sessions of the Council of National Investors, two sessions of the Council of Foreign Investors, and four sessions of the Security Council were held under the chairmanship of the Head of the State. The President took part in the enlarged sessions of the board of the General Prosecutor Office and the Foreign Ministry, listened to the reports of heads of central and local executive bodies, national companies and development institutes. The Head of the State paid 20 working visits to the regions of the country.
