Head of State reappoints Kazakh Energy Minister

Almasadam Satkaliyev has joined a number of ministers who kept their jobs in the new Cabinet of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kazinform News Agency cites the Akorda press service.

President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev decreed to reappoint Satkaliyev as the country’s Energy Minister.

Almasadam Satkaliyev was born in 1970 in Almaty. He graduated from the Kazakh State University.

Throughout his career, he mainly worked for a number of Kazakhstani companies, including KazTransOil, KEGOC, Samruk-Kazyna National Wealth Fund, and Samruk Energy.

Almasadam Satkaliyev was appointed to his recent post on April 4, 2023.
