Head of State signs decree to award special presidential literary prize

Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has inked the decree awarding the special presidential literary prize to young Kazakhstani writers and poets in 2024, Akorda reports.

The special presidential literary prize was awarded to:

1. Yessbol Sotsialkhan in the Prose nomination for his work ‘2026’;

2. Zhanibek Alimanov in the Poetry nomination for his collection of poems ‘Boz ushkat’;

3. Alisher Aituar in the Drama nomination for his dramatic work ‘Apatai’;

4. Asset Syzdykov in the Children’s Literature nomination for his ‘Roket Yera. Synopsis’ tale.

Earlier, the Head of State decreed to award Culture Scholarships in 2024.
