Head of State Tokayev talks with Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow over phone
Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev had a phone talk with his Turkmen colleague Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow, Akorda reports.
The two Presidents highlighted the high dynamics of development of Kazakh-Turkmen relations and discussed the preparation for the upcoming visit of the Kazakh leader to Turkmenistan this fall.
The importance of further strengthening bilateral cooperation in transport and logistics, energy, cultural and humanitarian as well as other fields was stressed.
Earlier Deputy Prime Minister – Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan Murat Nurtleu had a telephone conversation with Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers - Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Raşit Meredow.
The phone talk centered on the current issues of the bilateral cooperation development, and interaction within the multilateral structures. The foreign ministers also discussed the topical issues of the regional and international agenda.
